The Cowboy Captain of the Cutty Sark is a Scrooge McDuck comic by Don Rosa. The story takes place between The Buckaroo of the Badlands and Raider of the Copper Hill in the series The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck making it part 3B. This makes little sense, since in the end of part three (Buckaroo of the Badlands), Scrooge is hired to work for Murdo MacKenzie, and in the very beginning of the fourth part (Raider of the Copper Hill) that same employment is ended - making the time for part The Cowboy Captain overlap with his employment on the Mackenzie's farm.
The story take place in 1883. Scrooge imports some cattle to Indonesia but encounters a thief and meets his old friend Ratchet Gearloose from his Riverboat days. Then he becomes part of a spectacular trip aboard the clipper ship Cutty Sark.
